Most of the daily life on campus came to a screeching halt in March in response to COVID-19, and plans are underway for a phased return for employees and fall return for students.

The 乐播传媒 announced on April 3 that all of the university鈥檚 summer courses would be offered online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a season that has brought unprecedented changes and challenges, a growing number of students say they look forward to taking advantage of the opportunity, and the University is working to ensure that students stay on track in their academic programs and career goals.

The 乐播传媒 Student Government Association has joined forces with the other 13 public universities in Alabama and the Higher Education Partnership to host an Alabama Blood Donation Campaign. This organized effort is sponsored in response to the call to action from Alabama Governor Kay Ivey.

The 乐播传媒 has continued to monitor novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential effects on the university community and its educational delivery methods.

Tutorials have been scheduled to assist in the transition to online learning necessitated by the University's response to the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19). All tutorials will be held in the Julia Tutwiler Library on campus the week of Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020.

乐播传媒 Theatre and Sumter Theatre Workshop are partnering to present 鈥淯rinetown, the Musical鈥� for three nights March 11-13, at 7:30 p.m. at 乐播传媒鈥檚 Bibb Graves Auditorium. Admission is free for 乐播传媒 students, faculty, and staff, and general admission is $10
