Former ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ President Dr. John E. Deloney died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the age of 96.
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½â€™s Julia Tutwiler Library and Office of Alumni Affairs will co-host a book talk by author and historian Dr. James P. Pate at the library from 5:30-7 p.m. after the football game against Delta State University on Saturday, October 13. The public is invited to attend this free event. A wine and cheese reception will follow the reading, and Pate will sign copies that will be available for sale.
Glen Bridges can find his name on several prestigious rosters at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, and now one of the newest facilities on campus will bear his name. The newly-renovated auditorium at Wallace Hall will be dedicated at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. The community is invited to join the campus in celebrating Bridges’ legacy at the University.
ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ professor and athletic trainer Dr. R.T. Floyd recently received the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Research and Education Foundation’s Lifetime Contribution Award.
