The Office of Institutional Advancement at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has announced the addition of two new members on its development team: Chris Lucas, director of development, and Garrett Webb, development officer.
Jason Green came to Livingston with a plan. He wanted to continue his education and earn a bachelor’s degree that would complement the associate’s degree he earned in funeral service education, and he did that. But he says that his experience at Livingston University (now the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½) added more to his life and future than merely two years of higher education. Leaving with a degree under his belt, he says that what stands out to him most is what was under his feet.
Few individuals know as much about nursing education at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ over the past five decades as Lynn Lashley does. Her journey reflects the program's full evolution, from being a member of the inaugural class of then-Livingston University's Associate Degree in Nursing program to her current role as a part-time retention specialist in the Ira D. Pruitt Division of Nursing.
Growing up, Patrick Evans often played the teacher in a pretend classroom in his home. When the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ held commencement exercises in May, nearly 40 graduates from the Division of Nursing decorated their robes with round medallions dangling from red-and-white ribbons.
