The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Board of Trustees approved at its June 1 quarterly meeting proposed construction plans for facilities at Lake LU for its new fishing team, which will begin competing this year. 
Sharon Valverde has researched moose in Alaska, elk in New Mexico, and mule deer in Texas. However, nothing in her extensive experience in deer ecology and management prepared the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ assistant professor and researcher to dip her toes into the study of bats. Joining her in this research is Taylor Underwood, a graduate assistant in the Master of Science in Conservation Biology program.

Jason Green came to Livingston with a plan. Leaving with a degree under his belt, he says that what stands out to him most is what was under his feet.
A new scholarship endowment will honor a family legacy at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, its namesake the parents of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ President Ken Tucker. The Dr. Betty Jean and Howard Tucker Endowed Scholarship, endowed at $150,000, is a transformative gift that will provide perpetual support for students for many years to come.
Few individuals know as much about nursing education at the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ over the past five decades as Lynn Lashley does. Her journey reflects the program's full evolution, from being a member of the inaugural class of then-Livingston University's Associate Degree in Nursing program to her current role as a part-time retention specialist in the Ira D. Pruitt Division of Nursing.
